We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in Med-Surg Adult to join our healthcare team. As a Med-Surg Adult RN, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and quality care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. Responsibilities and Duties:
– Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine their physical, emotional, and psychological needs
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety
– Monitor patients’ vital signs, recognizing deviations from baseline and implementing appropriate interventions
– Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
– Provide direct patient care, including wound dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV administration
– Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication use, and post-discharge care
– Respond to emergencies promptly, providing immediate intervention and following established protocols
– Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a comprehensive manner
– Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
– Continuously stay updated with the latest medical advancements and evidence-based practices in Med-Surg Adult Nursing
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and research as required
– Collaborate effectively within the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote seamless patient care delivery
– Foster a supportive and comforting environment for patients and their families during their hospital stay
